Andrea has been an actor, writer and comedian in Melbourne for the past 12 years. She has performed in numerous comedy theatre productions including Enough Is Enough for Melbourne Fringe 1997, This Is Your Miserable Life for 1999 Melbourne International Comedy Festival (for which she received a Green Room Award nomination), Ethel Chop & Chums for 2001 MICF (for which she received a Perth Fringe Comedy Award) and I Smell Bacon also in 2001 (for which she received a Melbourne Fringe Comedy Award).

Andrea has appeared in numerous tv programs including Kath & Kim, One Size Fits All, The Panel & Good News Week.

This year Andrea understudies the role of Bertha in the comedy Boeing Boeing! The production opens June 7 and tours Australia. Her latest one woman show Gobbledygook premiered at the 2008 Melbourne Comedy Festival and will tour Sydney and Perth later in the year.

She can be heard regularly “directing” Ethel Chop on the Austereo radio network and seen on the Melbourne comedy circuit and tours Australia wide.

Ethel dictated a book to Andrea called "Strain Your Gherkins" published by Penguin.
